One of the benefits of having your own manufacturing facility is that products can be made very quickly if necessary.
And that’s just what Recognition Express Taunton owner Kevin Andrews did when he heard on the radio that Wellworths store manager Clare Robertson didn’t have a name badge ready for her big opening the following day.
From listening to Clare’s interview with Chris Evans on Radio Two at 5.30 it took just a few hours to make the badges and hotfoot it over to Dorchester to hand them over.
He also made a special silver badge for Chris who was opening the store.
“We specialise in making name badges and promotional items and can make up to 1,000 badges at a time. Professional name badges enhance the image of a business, adding a high quality finishing touch. Like almost everybody else in the nation, I have been very impressed by Claire’s determination to re-open the former Woolworth’s store in Dorchester and I was only too happy to help out.”
Kevin has run his own business since 2004. Working from unit 11 in Keyford Court on the Marston Trading Estate in Frome, he has continued to invest in new equipment including three embroidery machines to meet the needs of his large customer base providing personalised items ranging from badges, plaques and mugs to branded clothing.
