"Seniors Helping Seniors have been a lifeline for my mum and our family, and have contributed to making it possible for mum to stay in her own home living independently. They provide caring companionship, taking mum for walks or into town, sometimes cooking lunch, doing bits of housework and shopping, driving her to the GP - all done with great empathy, care and friendship. They frequently go above and beyond and have recently set up a weekly swimming therapy programme unprompted by us, taking her there, helping her and making sure she has a warm drink and lunch afterwards. They keep me constantly informed about how mum is, alerting me when there's a cause for concern and reassuring me when there isn't. Living 200 miles away from mum, this is hugely important to me and with Seniors Helping Seniors I know mum is under their daily watchful care.
