Due to ongoing expansion & development, Signs Express Norwich have recently invested in upgrading their equipment and recruiting additional staff.
They are now the proud owners of a Tekcel 4m x 2m flatbed CNC router which was purchased with help from HSBC, New Anglia Growth Hub, Suffolk county council, the European Regional Development fund, the small grant scheme & complete CNC solutions.
The CNC Router will allow greater control of quality, continuity, response time, flexibility and product innovation which provides us with a greater competitive edge in the marketplace, all which will benefit our customers.
Signs Express (Norwich) franchisee Ken Venables said: “We have provided a consistent service with previous equipment but as technology progresses, we came to a point where an upgrade was required. We opted for a larger equipment solution, choosing the 4 metre long bed option over a 3 metre, as the additional length will give us far more flexibility and capacity, improving productivity.”
The installation of the router is part one of a four phase plan for updating and improving the production centre with over £85k invested so far.
