Adeeba joined the eDivert franchise in October 2018.
After more than 10 years as an office manager at one of the biggest universities in the Netherlands and running her own import and export business, Adeeba moved to the UK. Adeeba has a host of experience in customer service, as well as in general admin and outbound telesales. She is a real serial entrepreneur with an excellent understanding of what business owners and companies are looking for when they look at outsourcing their incoming or outbound calls.
Adeeba’s main motivation to join eDivert was so she can build up a business during school hours, and still look after her children when they come home from school. In addition, she likes to be challenged and feels that running her own eDivert business offers just that.
Adeeba is originally Dutch and is fluent in spoken and written English. Like other franchisees, she has previous experience in working in an office environment.
Adeeba is in the fortunate position that she has run a business before, so she already knows a lot about marketing. But she is interested in finding out more about how to market her eDivert business in the training that is provided, as each business and each industry is different again.
The eDivert training is designed though to train franchisees up who do not have any marketing background. It includes a lot of details on how to set up a marketing strategy, which tools to use and how to use these tools. Because at eDivert, we understand that getting customers in, is going to be your main concern as a new business. As the eDivert business model sells to small and medium-sized businesses the marketing is different from businesses that sell to consumers.
In the same way eDivert offer services to businesses, this is different again from selling a product and asks for a different approach.
The eDivert head office spent 5 years on experimenting, designing and fine-tuning a marketing strategy that works. As a franchisee you will learn how to implement this in your business. You will also receive a training in the different tools that we use to market our services to other businesses, this includes an email marketing system, a CRM system, templates that you use for your marketing and printed materials.
We asked Adeeba: What do you believe is key to the growth and maintenance of a strong business?
“Getting in contact with people, following up with them and staying in contact. It also helps to understand your customers pain points. Keep your goal in front of you and always keep on adjusting your marketing plans to improve your results.”
