The eDivert business model is one of the very few business models that you can run from nearly anywhere. Our business model does not require a shop front, neither does it depend on getting customers through footfall. Instead your customers can be based anywhere, just like yourself, as long as you have an internet connection.
In most cases eDivert franchisees don’t meet their customers in person. Business tends to be done over the phone, via email and through social media. Although if you do want to work with local businesses, it is still perfectly acceptable to meet up in person with your prospective customers.

There are many different reasons why people would like to run their eDivert business from abroad. Some of the people who enquire with us live abroad permanently; we’ve had enquiries from countries like Ireland, Australia, Dubai, India and Malaysia. Others have a second home or travel regularly to see family in the US, China, France or Spain.

We are very lucky with the technology we have at hand these days; the applications we use to run a successful eDivert business are all cloud-based. Our business model is built to give you the flexibility that you need to build a solid business that fits in with your lifestyle.

For example, our telephone system is an internet-based system. So whether you need to take inbound calls or make outbound calls, you can just plug your phone in wherever you are and work as if you are UK based.

Other tools that we use to run our eDivert business have an interface that can be used on a PC or laptop, as well as an app that can be installed on your smartphone or tablet. This means that you can run the essentials of your business from just your phone.

We do recommend that you regularly have a quiet office space available with a computer. This gives you a place to concentrate on building your business and speaking to customers on the phone without interruptions.

Because of how our business model works and the technology we use, we don’t sell our franchises with a geographical limitation. You can take clients on from anywhere. At the same time, we provide you with exclusivity for your customer and prospect base through our CRM system. This means that, as with other franchise networks, we still make sure that franchisees don’t compete with each other, but instead support each other as part of the same brand.

The other advantage of joining the eDivert network is that you can build partnerships with other eDivert franchisees who have received the same training as you and share the same work ethic and values. Every Monday morning we meet briefly with all franchisees via video conference to talk about our respective businesses. This is a great way to get to know the others in the network and for you to let others know what you’ve got to offer. So when someone in the network needs extra help with a project, you can offer to take on some of their work. Or if you have a big project, you have assistance available at a finger-click without the risks of hiring staff.
