Keeley launched her NIC management franchise at the end of 2013. She had previously spent 17 years working in the cleaning and soft services industry and was a senior manager with some high profile clients.

She recognised the enormous potential that exists in this industry, and so for many years she had wanted to branch out and go into business for herself. Although Keeley’s business is new she is already seeing a return on her investment.

“Each month qualified appointments are being made and more queries are coming through. I have several contracts in the pipeline, and of course I have the guaranteed income from NIC ensuring I started earning from day one of my franchise.”

For Keeley, one of the greatest aspects of owning her own business is the flexibility and independence that it brings, “I have been able to set my own schedule and manage my own time so my work/life balance has been much improved.”
