The first Fitness4Less club opened in 2007, just as the economic downturn was starting to bite. The company was one of the first in the UK to pioneer a high-tech, low-fee concept in the fitness sector, doing away with onerous contracts and hefty exit fees and putting the customer at the helm in managing their own membership.
Now with 14 successful clubs nationwide, Fitness4Less serves 75,000 members. Over 5,000 people join each day and on average 195,000 visits are made by members each month. With an award-winning reputation and a truly turnkey operation, Fitness4Less is looking to recruit ambitious franchisees to share our success and to further grow our portfolio.
Our current franchised units have been in operation for three years and have far outperformed their projected targets in relation to sales, turnover and net profit. We are now offering potential franchisees the opportunity to become part of a thriving industry sector, teaming up with a national award-winning brand, supported by our comprehensive training and support package. We are mainly based in the southeast but are keen to expand throughout all areas of the United Kingdom, Europe and further afield.
Find out below what is involved in the day-to-day running of a Fitness4Less Club from one of our existing franchisees. With all of the training and support that we can provide you, experience is not paramount. You just need a passion for customer service and the drive to execute our model to the best of your ability!
No two days are ever the same as a Fitness4Less franchisee. Tasks can include gym safety audits, team management, devising and implementing marketing plans, banking, member management, class attendance analysis, planning social media content and working on the front desk to understand what is happening in your club!
Initial support is given with funding, fit–out and equipment leasing. A standard two-week franchise training programme and one-week full-time onsite support is given for a club launch. Fitness4Less offer franchisees quarterly meetings and an annual review. Quarterly Health and Safety and annual Brand Standards audits ensure franchisees are always given the feedback needed to succeed.
Franchisees are directly linked to our IT and membership administration teams through the Fitness4Less management system and have direct contact with a franchise consultant should they need help or advice at any time.
