We advise on all aspects of franchise business for both franchisors and franchisees including, from the franchisor’s perspective, the establishment of the franchise system and network, preparation and grant of franchise agreements, advising on transfers of unit franchises, renewals, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreement terms and terminations.

We advise on property leases and employment issues which are also important in the franchise context. From a franchisee’s perspective, we appreciate the importance of a prospective franchisee being properly advised before entering a franchising arrangement and are experienced in providing appropriate initial advice and, thereafter, effective advice as needed during the franchise relationship.
