NORDSEE is the only company that covers the whole range of fresh fish, delicatessen salads and delicacies, as well as a comprehensive gastronomic offer and a wide variety of snacks. Thus, the traditional Bremerhaven-based company holds a unique market position. NORDSEE not only convinces with first-class service, but also with an outstanding price-performance ratio.
NORDSEE has operated its own franchise model since 2001. Out of a total of 370 restaurants, 135 are currently operated by franchise partners in Germany and abroad. The proportion of franchisees continues to rise. As well as converting our own branches in Germany and Austria into franchises, we are also working closely with franchise partners to expand the business.
The international franchise model is focused on expanding into countries and regions where NORDSEE has not been present to date. NORDSEE advises its partners in all key questions, such as site selection, logistics and human resources.
This franchise model is good for partners with the substantial liquidity necessary to open several restaurants in a region within a few years.
In international markets, we are cooperating with master franchisees for each country. Development plans are settled individually according to regional opportunities.

Restaurant
Our restaurants offer a wide range of fresh and natural fish dishes, salads and drinks to enjoy on site. Of course, our guests always have the option of taking their food with them to enjoy outside.
Food-court restaurant
The NORDSEE food court restaurants are usually located in shopping centres and have either their own dining area with seating or are connected to the mall’s dining area. The offer is similar to a normal restaurant.
Snack shop
NORDSEE snack shops offer hot and cold snacks to take away. Customers can choose between hearty baguettes, sandwiches, wraps, fresh salads and various hot snack boxes. The snack shop was developed for high-traffic locations with limited space: preferred locations are shopping malls, pedestrian zones, train stations and airports.
