Work for yourself, not by yourself – be your own boss with Snap-on

When you choose Snap-on, you choose one of the UK’s number-one franchises. Founded over 100 years ago, the global tool giant uses its immense knowledge and experience to support franchisees in every aspect of their businesses.

  • A Snap-on franchise is a mobile tool store that YOU own
  • No royalties to pay – you keep 100% of your profits
  • Instantly recognisable, prestige brand, renowned for quality
  • 165 UK-based support staff dedicated to your success
  • One of the UK’s most trusted, proven business models
  • Full training and a lifetime of support from Snap-on’s expert team.

Putting our money where our mouth is

We believe in our business so much that, when you invest in us, we’ll invest in you too by paying half of your start-up costs. That’s how confident we are!

Even with this amazing offer, you can still take advantage of our help-to-buy scheme. Our in-house bank, ‘Snap-on Finance’ offers business loans to fund the purchase of your franchise.

  • Cut out the high-street banks
  • Get finance from people who truly understand your business… us!
  • A three-month repayment break to help you as you launch
  • Fixed monthly repayments mean there are never any surprises!

Employee to franchisee: Some people will make great franchisees – we know it and you know it. But if you really can’t raise the start-up funds then we may have an opportunity to offer you an employed position for 12 months if you are an exceptional candidate. Through our Fixed Term option, you earn a salary whilst saving to buy your franchise.

Who can be a Snap-on franchisee?

Almost anyone! It’s all about attitude. We look for someone who has great people skills and the ability to really build relationships with customers. You need to be dedicated and willing to put in some serious effort but so long as you have a great attitude and motivation, we can teach you all you need to build a profitable, rewarding business.

Never run your own business before? No problem!

After ten days of classroom-style training at the brand’s dedicated UK centre, you’ll collect your own custom-built mobile store and meet the associates who will support you daily.

Once you’re out on the road, your one-to-one training continues with a dedicated Franchise Developer who will ride with you for your first five weeks. As part of our six-month intensive onboarding process, you’ll then receive a further 31 days of on-van support from a Sales Developer and Business Manager over the following five months.

Big business

Snap-on loves it when their franchisees dream big! Owning multiple territories and several mobile stores is common in the network – some franchisees choose to take on an assistant, some choose to bring family into the business and others have built what can only be described as their very own empire! Whether it’s business planning, funding assistance or the ongoing support you need to take things to the next level, the Snap-on team is right behind you.
