However, we thought parents and community partners would be interested to know how we find, nurture and quality-check the franchise partners spreading our work to new communities.

Why is The Little Foxes Club expanding?

We believe passionately in what we do. Children must have access to sports classes, camps, coaching sessions, parties, clubs and leagues in their local area. We do everything we can to work with educators, local authorities, funders, community-sports providers and parents to make that happen.

Then, we provide children with opportunities for fitness, fun, friendship and new skills, no matter what level of ability they start from.

Our safe, inclusive and non-judgmental grassroots sports provision also includes diverse genres, to help children find a sports activity they love, and potentially want to compete in.

Working with community partners – and DBS-checked and well qualified local coaches – is proving a successful business model. So, why not expand and deliver our leading brand of children’s sports activities to new places?

What we look for in franchise partners?

Working with The Little Foxes Club as a franchisee is a journey, not a destination.

We seek out enthusiastic self-starters who share our vision, and who want to be part of a warm, nurturing team. It’s also great when they are ambitious and want to develop an ever-expanding programme of grassroots sports, and potentially run multiple franchise operations.

Franchise applicants need to be aged over 18 and willing to be DBS screened and are usually people from sports, education or business backgrounds. They can actively coach themselves, or leave that to their local recruits.

Commitment to our quality and safety standards is measured right from the initial discussions about starting a children’s sports coaching franchise with us.

From there, we work with a potential franchisee to establish things like:

• Which exclusive territory do they want to cover
• How many hours/days do they want to commit to
• What gaps are there in children’s sports provision in their area
• What local community contacts do they have – or need

Potential sports coaching franchise applicants are also provided with answers to their questions, such as:

• How much start-up capital do I need for a children’s sports franchise?
• What training and support do you provide for new franchisees?
• What is the likely return on investment with children’s sports franchising?
