Filta Group UK is growing so fast we need good people to grow with us. Last year we had a significant intake of new Franchisees in our FiltaFry business, however about 30% of the people that wanted to become part of our business found it impossible to get the appropriate finance to do so, and therefore were unable to fund the investment and more importantly did not have sufficient funds for working capital. The end result was we lost some real talent, and still have areas in the country where we find it difficult to service our national account clients.
We have decided to sponsor a number of talented people this year, to make getting into business for themselves easier. We feel that if someone has the ability and the motivation to succeed all they really need is a start / chance in life. Our resolution for 2017 is that should we feel we have a talented person in front of us, but they are having problems with the finance side of joining us, then we
will invest in them to help them through.
Our resolution: “People rather than Pounds” – it makes sense to me.
