On Saturday, January 19th, we had our discovery morning in central London.

It was an absolute pleasure for us to meet some of our prospective franchisees! We had a great group of people, who asked us excellent questions. The atmosphere was very relaxed and it was wonderful to have a chance to speak to everyone individually during the breaks.

The morning started at 9:30am with a cup of coffee at our stylish venue in the heart of Soho. Gradually the attendees started arriving and by 10am, we were ready to make a start with the eDivert presentation.

The Presentation

Ed Studdert-Kennedy, who is in charge of marketing design and business networking at eDivert, introduced founder Kim van Dongen.

After a brief overview of how eDivert started and Kim’s background, we moved onto the successful eDivert business model.

We talked about the types of services eDivert offer and what types of clients eDivert works with.

We then moved onto how franchisees will find their customers. We talked about sales funnels, email marketing and business networking.

During the break all attendees had a chance to speak to either Kim or Ed and ask more personal questions that they didn’t want to share with the group. For Kim and Ed this was a great opportunity to get to know the franchisees better on a personal level.

Because at eDivert, we don’t just accept anyone as a franchisee. We select our franchisees carefully to ensure they fit in with our ethos, quality standards and image.

Training

After the break, we spoke in more detail about the franchise package. What is included and what training will the franchisees receive. The training is very comprehensive and includes everything from setting up your business, to how you will be doing your marketing, to how to serve your customers, what to charge them and so on. This section raised quite a few interesting questions from the attendees.

Motivation Monday

We explained that every Monday morning, all eDivert franchisees get together in a conference call for Motivation Monday. It’s a great way to get to know each other and get motivated for the week.
