The world’s fastest growing fitness club franchise, Anytime Fitness, started the New Year in fine form by opening a second club in Bristol.

Following the success of the first club in Clifton, within the University area of Bristol, former tennis professional Robin Drysdale opened an additional gym at the Willow Brook Centre in Bradley Stoke on 3rd January.

The 5,000 sq ft gym, located on the first floor of a large retail park, has a capacity for 1,400 members and offers free parking and 24 hour access. Changing rooms, offices and finishes in the ‘Fusion’ design scheme have been installed and the club is equipped with Precor fitness equipment, including treadmills and crosstrainers, and Precor strength pieces.

The club has created huge local interest and has already attracted over 400 members. 

Franchisee Robin Drysdale comments: “The Anytime Fitness gym at Clifton achieved the targets set for its first year, and it was always our intention to open additional clubs. The previously unused space at Willow Brook provided the perfect location due to its proximity to a Tesco Superstore and the fact that it was unsuitable for retail or office use. 

It has now been transformed into a vibrant gym that will benefit the whole community and, judging by the membership so far, it is set to be a resounding success.”
