A great blend of coffee and excellent service take Cafe2U into award finals for the 4th year in a row
Cafe2U celebrated with their Aberdeen West Franchise Partner Laura Macrae after she was shortlisted in the Best Drinks category of the Beverage Standard Awards 2011.
Even though Laura didn’t win the overall award, the judges commented that her hot drinks were outstanding and the best they had tasted from a mobile coffee van in 2011, resulting in an additional special commendation for her overall standards and delivery.
The Beverage Standards Association is dedicated to raising standards in the beverage industry and every year they travel around the UK judging the best coffee, tea and hot chocolate and celebrate with the few who are shortlisted at the annual awards ceremony in the City of London on Thursday 29th September.
Cafe2U Franchise Partners have been shortlisted for the awards each year since 2008 and have been proud winners for 3 years; the previous winners were Cafe2U Harrogate, Granary Wharf and Barnsley.
Laura explains: “My journey with Cafe2U started when my husband came home from his first day at a new job, raving about the mobile coffee van than parked up outside his office! In June 2009 I took my first drive out in my new Cafe2U van and have never looked back. I think it is our unbeatable coffee and great ongoing support from the head office team that makes us a winning blend.”
