The city of Sheffield is brimming with pride after Jessica Ennis received the gold medal for her heptathlon triumph from fellow Sheffield athlete Sebastian Coe.
Local Signage and Graphics Company FASTSIGNS® which is based just down the road from Jessica’s home in Woodseats has a special way to show their
appreciation. Two eye catching banners made especially to welcome Jessica on her return are taking pride of place in the city. One banner decorates the front of the FASTSIGNS centre and one more is on the bridge across Brightside Lane by special permission from Sheffield Forgemasters.
FASTSIGNS owner Paul Allison said “Jessica’s achievements mean a lot to the people of Sheffield. We wanted to give her a warm welcome home on behalf of the whole community so we decided to make some special banners for her.”
The eye catching banners feature a Union Jack and a picture of Jessica holding a javelin.
