Leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection has launched its new range of 36 eye-catching Father’s day cards in time for 16 June.
Card Connection’s network of franchisees will supply the new designs to retailers throughout the UK, in addition to accessories like bottle and gift bags and gift wrap to encourage linked purchases.
“We know special days mean special sales,” confirms Michael Johnson, managing director of Card Connection. “Therefore, our in-house design team is constantly creating new greeting cards, perfectly timed for our franchisees to create attractive displays and boost sales in store on behalf of our many retail customers.
“Our business model means that retailers only pay for what they sell,” continues Johnson. “This combined with the quality merchandising our franchisees provide means our service is particularly popular. Our franchisees will supply the latest selection of Father’s day cards which this year, covers five different price codes, including luxury hand-crafted cards, so there’s something to suit every customer’s needs.”
Card Connection is part of UK Greetings, which is a subsidiary of the largest publicly owned greeting card publisher in the world and has limited vacancies for franchisees that are keen to run an expanding business. Suitable candidates would ideally have some management experience as, once established, and depending on the size of the territory, they could be expected to employ a small team, operate a small warehouse and have several liveried vans on the road.
Since the franchise network in the UK is complete, the available opportunities now consist of acquiring an already established territory from an existing franchisee. These vary in price according to their level of development, but start at £7k + Stock + Card Connection fee with earnings potential in excess of £50k per annum.
Territories currently available include: Southend-on-Sea, Plymouth, Nottingham/Grantham, Leicester, Manchester, Cardiff, Southport/Wigan, Macclesfield/Buxton, Dundee/Kirkcaldy.
