Leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection, has today announced the launch of a range of new birthday football themed cards.
The official licenced product designs depict the shield, logo and colours of nine leading football teams including Premiership sides; Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City as well as Scottish Premier League team Celtic and Rangers. All are now on sale to the public through UK retailers.

The new designs come out hot on the heels of a recent launch of a colourful official Gaelic Athletics Association (GAA) licenced birthday cards also launched by Card Connection. Both ranges will now allow customers to send cards featuring the teams of their nearest and dearest.
Card Connection’s cards are supplied to retailers by the Company’s team of franchisees, using a proven system to place quality greeting cards and gifts in retail outlets on a ‘consignment’ basis. This means the stock and display equipment are installed on free loan to the retailer. This is one step beyond ‘sale or return’ as Card Connection customers never have to buy the stock initially, only paying for what they sell.
Card Connection’s award winning merchandising service provided by local franchisees has proved popular with retailers all over the UK and Ireland including Card Connection’s key National Accounts such as Spar, Nisa, Supervalu, Centra, Costcutter, Mace, Londis, Total, Shell.

Suitable candidates would ideally have some management experience as, once established, and depending on the size of the territory, they could be expected to employ a small team, operate a small warehouse and have several liveried vans on the road.
