Oscars Pet Foods have exciting news coming up to Christmas including their new TV advert, new franchisees, upcoming discovery days as well as helpful tips and advice for making sure your pet enjoys Christmas as much as you!
New TV Advert:
OSCAR is now featuring on More 4, the Channel 4 Group described as the BBC 2 of Channel 4. The advert is airing during the day in anticipation of reaching the family purse holders alongside its high level of fact-based documentaries and intelligent programming.
Our new voice over is by Stephen Harrison. He knows OSCAR products very well and would appreciate just what the customer wants to hear. Described as soft and conversational he presents a balance between enthusiastic, welcoming and genuine.

Winter Alarm Bells
Killjoy or not, OSCAR wants its pet owners to have a happy winter by taking note of any danger that may not be on their basic awareness list for their beloved pets.
BEWARE
- Antifreeze – tempting sweet tasting, deadly poison.
- Salt and other chemicals to melt snow and ice will irritate their pads.
- Licking their paws may pass on the irritation to their mouth.
- Always wipe their paws with a damp towel.
- Some dogs really do need an extra coat – an ideal present!
WEATHER
Icy winds and snow eat into their ears and paws, the wind can be disorientating. They too may suffer with aching joints, pulled muscles from the cold and an upset stomach from eating snow. And a frozen lake, where your pet might escape a break in the ice, you may not!
CHRISTMAS
A pet will enjoy sharing your festive fun and anything it can’t have, it will find and that means all the extra trinkets that decorate our homes.
A well-balanced OSCAR meal, an OSCAR treat, an OSCAR toy under the tree and a nice brisk walk will make Christmas safe for your pet and happy for you.
NEW YEAR
Fireworks and pets – keep them safe! Keep them occupied! Distract them!
