St Osmund’s School, Dorchester has been awarded a donation of £500 by Meyers Estate Agents, following their participation and winning design submitted by a student in a festive ‘design a for sale board’ competition.
Mark Meyer, CEO, Meyers Estate Agents confirms: “As an agency, we love engaging with the communities where we work and were overwhelmed by the recent response to our ‘design a for sale board’ competition. We were inundated with hundreds of dazzling designs from children from several schools around Dorchester and the surrounding villages. It was tough choosing our favourite board, but one stood out for its festive, friendly and colourful design. The winning design was printed and used as a real-life for sale board to market properties in central Dorchester over the Christmas period.”
Oliver, aged ten, from St Osmund’s was crowned the winner of Meyers Estate Agents’ design a sale board competition and won himself £50 worth of arts and craft supplies in addition to securing the £500 donation for his school. Saira Sawtell Headteacher, St Osmund’s CE Middle School confirmed: “The £500 donation will be spent on buying more outside benches for our children to sit on at break times.”
Meyers Estate Agents is an award winning agency which was recently awarded bronze in the Community Champion of the Year category for the national Negotiator awards which recognised the team’s contribution to raising £250K for more than ten local charities over the past ten years as well as creating the GAP project in association with the mental health charity Mind’s Dorset branch The GAP Project Ecotherapy ⋆ Dorset Mind Mental Health.
