Leeds based signage company FASTSIGNS is quietly optimistic that the recession might be over. Sales are increasing month on month and the company has taken on a new member of staff to help cope with the increased business.
Chris & Andy Simpson, owners of FASTSIGNS Leeds have appointed Tom Rhodes (21) as a Sales & Marketing Assistant with special responsibility for photography and social media which includes podcasts Facebook, blogging and twitter activity.
FASTSIGNS is based in York Road and employs 10 members of staff. The company celebrates 15 years in business this year and is looking forward to a bumper 2010.
Said Andy Simpson: ‘We are seeing an increase in new business and our existing clients are ordering more, so would appear that talk of ‘green shoots’ might be true. Going on our sales performance so far, we are on track to have a really good anniversary year.
“At times like these it is important to have a strong marketing presence and we decided to bring Tom on board to free up the sales team, enabling them to focus purely on sales.”
Tom has a background in media production in film & TV and has also worked as a part-time freelance photographer. “I’ve always wanted to work in a creative environment and I’m very lucky to have found FASTSIGNS. They are a good bunch of people, it’s always busy and I’m quickly getting very involved.”
FASTSIGNS offers a full range of custom signs and graphic products, including banners, window and vehicle graphics, floor graphics, safety and identification signage, exhibition graphics and exterior signage for interior and exterior use.
