Franchise owners celebrate at inaugural Betterclean Services awards

Commercial cleaning company Betterclean Services has honoured its best-performing business owners at the brand’s first-ever franchisee awards, which were held in Birmingham on 13 January.

Four franchise owners took home honours across five categories, recognised for their quality of service, team-building skills and outstanding business results. Bath & Bristol owner Chris Cook scooped two accolades, including Best Performing Franchise, three years after starting his business.

He said: “I’m thrilled to receive these awards, which are thanks to the incredible work of my team in delivering the highest quality service to our clients. I’ve received great support from both head office and my fellow franchise owners, which has allowed me to focus on the growth strategy for the business to great effect. I can’t wait to celebrate with the team!”

The winners on the night were:

  • Best Performing – Chris Cook, Bath & Bristol
  • Most Improved Franchise – Simon Luget, Maidstone
  • Investor in People – John & Linda Goodyear, York
  • Innovation Award – Chris Cook, Bath & Bristol
  • Best Customer Service – Sylvie Botquelen, Brighton

The awards evening followed a Network Day, which showcased a number of new developments for franchise owners in 2017 including an expanded head office support team, new marketing initiatives and extra training courses for staff – all at no additional cost to the franchise owners.
An upgraded version of Betterclean’s bespoke business management system, BLISS, is also being rolled out to further reduce administration time and ensure staff remain fully focused on service delivery.
