Double the good news for Just Cuts as salons seven and eight open their doors.
On Saturday 4th July, hair salons across the UK reopened their doors to their clients eagerly awaiting taming of their tendrils. As well as welcoming clients back to their six existing UK salons, the Australian hairdressing franchise, Just Cuts, launched two brand new locations on the so-called ‘Super Saturday’, opening in Sunderland and Middlesbrough.
As part of their growth strategy, these prime locations – and others planned to open before the end of the year – are available to Franchise Owners wishing to invest in a going concern but with the support of Just Cuts’ proven franchise systems. The north east salons are the third and fourth in Just Cuts’ recent initiative to secure sought-after retail spaces for prospective Franchise Owners to later take ownership of.
“The demand for our value-led services was apparent, so when the units became available, we wanted to make sure we wouldn’t miss out on these desirable locations,” explained David Mathie, General Manager for Just Cuts in the UK. “The first two salons we launched as part of this initiative, in Romford and Leeds, have already been taken over by new Franchise Owners so we can’t imagine it will be long before an investor takes over the reins of one or both of these new locations.
“One of the best things about owning a Just Cuts salon is that you don’t have to have come from a hairdressing or beauty background. As long as you’re willing to invest time and passion into the business, anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit can make a success of a Just Cuts salon.”
Just Cuts’ goal for the remainder of 2020 is to continue securing prime retail locations across busy town centres and in shopping centres with high rates of footfall. Their international network of Franchise Owners includes budding entrepreneurs from all backgrounds and whether they wish to invest in an existing salon or a new territory, the brand has already demonstrated its tenacity straight out of the starters block after lockdown eased.
“We’re proudly the largest hairdressing brand in the southern hemisphere. We’ve achieved that accolade by constantly revisiting our franchise package, offering business owners opportunities with longevity and scope for growth. Considering the economic climate faced by all business owners post-lockdown, this is more crucial than ever before,” said David.
The global brand is also proudly celebrating their 30th year in franchising in 2020, having launched the first franchisee-owned salon in the suburb of Engadine, Sydney, in July 1990. With two new British salons kicking off the month-long celebration, July 2020 will certainly go down in Just Cuts’ history as a pivotal moment in their global domination.
