Kare Plus expands franchise support team

Leading care franchise Kare Plus has strengthened its franchisee support team with the appointment of two experienced managers. Nichola Pemberton has joined the organisation as Operations Manager and Angela Godsmark will head up Kare Plus’s Domicilliary Care Division.

Nichola, who has 10 years experience in healthcare recruitment as well as a background in domicilliary care, will be helping franchisees recruit high quality nurses and care workers, while Angela brings extensive experience of both the domiciliary and supported living sectors, and will be tasked with supporting franchisees in developing further growth in these lucrative areas.

“Kare Plus is probably the fastest growing care franchise in the UK,” says Managing Director Steve Welsh. “Changes in the way health and social care are being delivered post legislation in 2012 has really opened tremendous opportunities for experienced, fully accredited care providers like ourselves.

We have secured a number of major new contracts in recent months, which means our franchisees are busier than ever and so need as much support as possible; that’s why we’ve expanded our team with two highly experienced, results focused people. Nichola in particular will be out in the field, visiting franchisees to provide hands-on assistance and advice wherever it’s needed.”

He adds, “Currently we have a number of high value tenders in place for national contracts, and so we’re also looking to aggressively expand our network to meet increased demand for care services.”

Kare Plus franchisees benefit from being able to provide nurses and other medical professionals to hospitals and care homes, as well offering domiciliary services to those in need of care at home, in turn generating multiple income streams.
