Live-in care provider, Promedica24, has been nominated as a finalist for the Best Print Advert Award at the Franchise Marketing Awards 2019.

Promedica24 has been shortlisted for the print advert that appeared in The Times, in April. The advertorial promotes the quality live-in care services and highlights their benefits.
The first benefit the advert covers is the ability for clients to remain at home with pets. Agingcare report that animals can help reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and increase social interaction and physical activity. Pets provide other intangibles too. “Dogs and cats live very much in the present,” says psychotherapist Dr Jay P. Granat. “They don’t worry about tomorrow, which can be a very scary concept for an older person. An animal embodies that sense of here and now, and it tends to rub off on people.”
Secondly, the advert showcases that care at home, provided by a trusted and compassionate carer, relieves the strain on the wider family. As health deteriorates, the pressure can mount for the family trying to keep their loved one at home. Eventually, this pressure become unbearable, forcing the family to see a care home as their only and inevitable solution. This is a deeply troubling time for all families and a decision that could be avoided if they were aware of other care options available.
