The shortlist for the Startups Awards 2012 has been announced and ActionCOACH Marco Soares is amongst the finalists.
Based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, Marco has been running his ActionCOACH franchise for only just over two years. The shortlisting for Startups Awards now places his business amongst 35 companies from across the country that have been named as finalists for the Awards and are hoping to win one of the 14 trophies up for grabs at the glittering ceremony in London this December.
The Startups Awards, sponsored by NatWest and organised by Startups.co.uk, celebrate the success of businesses in the UK that have been trading for less than three years.
Marco has been shortlisted for the Franchisee of the Year Award along with two other companies. Founded in 1993 by Brad Sugars in Australia, ActionCOACH is the world’s number one business coaching franchise, with more than 1,000 offices in 40 countries. ActionCOACH has proven tools and strategies which help business owners increase profit, improve time management and create better performing teams. The Action system enables business owners to achieve an exponential growth pattern, whilst also giving them the business and life balance they always dreamed of.

Duncan Bannatyne, of Dragons’ Den fame, will lead the judging panel alongside a number of other highly successful entrepreneurs and business experts including James Hurley, enterprise editor for the Daily Telegraph and Kevin Byrne, managing director of checkatrade.com.
