Franchise Brands PLC boss Stephen Hemsley has started to look for more acquisitions with the integration of drain maintenance business Metro Rod now largely finished.

Good growth at Metro Rod was behind the healthy rise in first-half profits as franchisees at the B2B business have embraced the new Vision 2023 strategy.
Nearly 40% of franchisees are seeing sales growth of more than 20%.
ChipsAway is also seeing good growth to prepare the car bodywork business for the advent of electric cars.
