A former crane driver has become the third franchisee in Southern Ireland for Cafe2U. Launching with Cafe2U’s exclusive Acceleration Package Keith Fennelly from Abbeyleix in Laois is already creating a buzz within his territory in the towns of Naas, Newbridge and Kildare.

After seven years operating a crane Keith decided he wanted a new career and to be his own boss. After securing the franchise for Kildare and Laois, and four weeks extensive training Keith launched his Cafe2U business in the heart of Ireland in early November.

Already becoming a familiar face to workers in the Kildare and Laois area, Keith has served hundreds of gourmet coffees from his distinctive red van and is breaking previous Cafe2U launch records.

The new Cafe2U Acceleration Package fast tracks the business by up to three months, ensuring franchisees hit the ground running. The package includes a four week training and support program overseen by a personal franchise coach and franchisees are guaranteed an agreed revenue from day one.

Mr Fennelly said: “Cafe2U told me I would be given full training and support; they have beaten my expectations with this and all aspects of my launch which has been an outstanding success. I am working hard, but most importantly I am working for myself. I have been overwhelmed by the support of my customers who are truly in love with my gourmet coffees and hot chocolates!”

In total Cafe2U now operates 56 custom built Cafe2U vans selling gourmet coffee and other snacks and food to tens of thousands of customers across the UK and Ireland each week.

The Cafe2U franchise, including the new Acceleration Package, costs £19,999 +vat. The custom built Cafe2U van costs a further £38,500 and can be purchased or leased subject to status.
