The 2021 Signarama World Axe Throwing Championship event will take place December 12 at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth, TX.
The sponsorship stands as the culmination of Signarama’s 35-year anniversary that has taken place all year long, which also included a special “We Love Signs” social media contest among their United States locations, setting a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD® at Signarama’s annual convention for “most signatures on a banner in one hour,” and most recently, hosting a virtual zoom birthday party with attendees from around the world.

The 2021 Signarama World Axe Throwing Championship will air live on ESPN+ on December 12th, 2021 at 1PM EDT.
In addition to this exciting sponsorship announcement, Signarama is also unveiling a new preferred partnership program with the World Axe Throwing League.
The goal of this program will be to provide expert guidance on signage and other critical branding materials needed by all new and existing axe-throwing venues, leagues, and recreational facilities opening throughout the United States. With over 300 axe throwing venues and dozens opening each quarter, Signarama is uniquely positioned to provide creative support to help continue the growth of the axe throwing sport into 2021, and help these locations further develop their brand.
The World Championship brings together the top throwers globally, out of tens of thousands of throwers, in 3 major disciplines: Hatchet, Big Axe and Duals.
This year features a total Prize Pool of $50,000. The World Axe Throwing League continues its role in this growing sport by bringing together axe throwing clubs and setting standards for league rules, safety protocols, training and more.
