North Shields-based Bill Rodgers joined the Auditel Cost Management Franchise in September. He had spent much of his career in senior sales and marketing roles in the specialist packaging industry. For the past fourteen years, he was self-employed as the owner of two highly successful businesses in packaging and property development.
Asked why he joined Auditel, Bill said: “Having run my own business, I was looking for an opportunity that gave me the “owner” feel, perhaps being part of a bigger organisation with a team. No-one is successful without a good team behind them. Auditel really fits the bill in that respect. Bill said that the training had been excellent. “Very detailed, extremely well structured and the content was of a high standard. They take you up and down through the process, but at the end of the week you come out thinking ‘we’ve got some good things to talk to people about here.’ I was really, really impressed and feel confident to get out into the market place.”
Having worked for companies that are profitable and growing or in turnaround mode, Bill says that he has first-hand knowledge of the vital importance of effective cost management.
“The experience gained through running my own business means that I understand the difficulties of balancing cost management with growth and still achieve some sort of work-life balance.
