When the lease came to an end on his office in the town centre, local businessman Steve Gledhill, decided it was time for a change. He gave up the tenancy on the dilapidated building and set to work on building his own premises in the back garden of his home in Mulbarton.
Steve who owns Recognition Express Norwich, the UK’s top supplier of corporate gifts, signs, badges and clothing, has single handedly designed and built his own timber cabin in the heart of the countryside just outside Norwich.
“It’s an insulated cabin, so it’s cheap to heat and should pay for itself after two years which just makes more sense economically,” says Steve. “I have been really excited about this move; as it has had a positive effect on my working life and is so refreshing to have wildlife right outside the office window.”
