FASTSIGNS® have been awarded a number of impressive business awards at a recent ceremony of international businesspeople.
Six of the UK’s FASTSIGNS® centres are celebrating after winning a clutch of top business awards at an international ceremony attended by colleagues from all over the world.
Representatives of the UK centres, which specialise in custom signs and graphics, received their accolades at the company’s 12th annual franchisee convention in Colorado Springs, USA, which was attended by more than 500 delegates from FASTSIGNS centres in the United States, Canada, the UK, Mexico, Brazil and Australia.
Jenny Boreham of FASTSIGNS Chelmsford, and Lindsay and Paul Allison of FASTSIGNS Sheffield, both won Regional Sales Achievement awards for achieving the highest regional total sales for a year’s trading.
Newcomer of the Year award went to Alison and Justin Tidmarsh, who opened FASTSIGNS Coventry less than two years ago, for highest average monthly sales, while an Outstanding Sales Recognition award went to Rebecca Holiday, a sales representative at FASTSIGNS Leeds, for outstanding sales achievement.
Trevor Davies, of FASTSIGNS Huddersfield, picked up the Growing Sales Achievement award for a consistent improvement in sales between two 12 month periods, as well as a Milestone Sales Achievement award for his work at the Huddersfield centre since 2005. This award compares centres with others which have been operating for a similar period, and was also awarded to Mark Phelps of FASTSIGNS Kingston upon Thames, which he has owned since 1999. Mark also won the Resale Newcomer of the Year, which is given to individuals who are most effective in taking over an existing centre and carrying it forward to greater achievement.
Special mentions were also given to Jenny Boreham, Trevor Davies, Richard Northcote of FASTSIGNS Watford, and Christopher Simpson of FASTSIGNS Leeds, for their work as business mentors for new franchisees.
